TOWN CENTRE PARKING
As we have limited on site parking based on a first come first served basis we politely advise guests of the additional parking available in the town centre.
* THE MULTI STOREY CAR PARK is now open with 400 spaces. It is a 24 hour secure parking facility 150 metres from the hotel. Entry and exit is via central square, turn right under the bridge then right into the car park. The charges are £1.20 per hour 8.00am – 7.00pm, £2.50 per night 7.00pm – 8.00am.
The hotel can offer a £3.50 rate for parking at the multi storey from 5.30pm-8.00am.
* THE BRITISH LEGION CAR PARK (Washington Street, to the right of the hotel). Guests can only use the spaces on the front of the British Legion car park facing on to Washington Street for a rate of £2.00 per night. A display card is needed from the hotel reception.
* THE SLEEPWELL INN CAR PARK Guests can use the bays provided; a display card is needed from reception.
* THE UDALE STREET AND LADIES WALK CAR PARK (Marks and Spencers). Free between 6.30pm and 8.30am. (Beyond HSBC Bank- 100 metres) Approx 100 places. The day time charges are £1 up to 1 hour, £1.50 up to 1.5 hours and £2 up to 2 hours.
* CENTRAL STATION CAR PARK These are long stay and free between 6.30pm and 8.30am. (2nd left off Jane Street/Oxford Street Roundabout behind the Evangelical Church- 200 metres). Approx 500 places. The day time charges are £3.50 up to 4 hours and £5 up to 10 hours.
* CUMBRIA LEARNING SKILLS COUNCIL CAR PARK is available from 5.00pm to 8.00am (Please do not use Bays 4-14 inclusive). Free of Charge. (Along Washington Street turn left on to Cross Hill turn right opposite HMC furniture shop to enter car park by top entrance off Bank Road- exit by bottom onto Harrington Road.-200 metres) Approx 40 places.
Other parking is available in the town but these are the nearest.
At no time do the landowners of these car parks, the Washington Central Hotel or the Sleepwell Inn take any Liability whatsoever for any loss or damage to any vehicle parked in these areas.
The Sleepwell Inn and the Washington Central Hotel are not liable for any parking fines due to changes to Allerdale Borough Council car park rules and regulations.
It is the individuals total responsibility to be fully aware of the rules and regulations advertised by Allerdale Borough Council.
