Mother’s Day Menu

12 noon – 3.00pm

 

£16.00 per Adult          £10.50 per Child

Appetisers

Homemade tomato and red pepper soup

topped with toasted herb croutons

 

Smoked chicken Caesar salad with crisp pancetta

on baby gem leaves

 

Button mushrooms sautéed

in garlic and chive cream sauce presented on a garlic croute

 

Poached pear

 with chargrilled pineapple, plum coulis and strawberry sorbet

 

Smoked trout and Norwegian prawns

served with roasted cherry tomatoes and Marie rose sauce

Roast silverside of Cumbrian beef

served with Yorkshire puddings and seasoned pan juices

 

Oven baked supreme of chicken

wrapped in smoked back bacon served with tomato and basil sauce

 

Slow roasted leg of Lakeland lamb

presented with red wine glaze

 

Pan fried fillet of Solway seabass

on tomato and olive crushed potatoes, julienne on mange-tout and prawn cream sauce

 

Homemade spinach and ricotta cannelloni with mixed salad

 

All main courses will be accompanied by fresh market vegetables and potatoes

 

Desserts

A choice of fresh cream desserts, puddings, dairy ices and cheeses
